Turning 21 is a milestone that deserves an incredible celebration, and what better way to make it memorable than with personalized party favors? If you're planning a 21st birthday party, we have an easy, affordable, and aesthetically pleasing party favor idea for you that elevates the party decor. The best part is that it involves the most popular party accessory - a shot bottle! Let us take you through the steps to make DIY 21st birthday party favor shot bottles using our shop’s personalized labels.
What You’ll Need:
Firstly, let's talk about the aesthetics. PINK is THE color for birthday celebrations in 2023. From Barbie themed birthday parties to disco cowgirl bachelorettes or fun bold fiestas, pink - especially hot pink - is everywhere. It can glam up any venue and add a feminine touch to the party décor. Your 21st birthday party should be no exception! With that in mind, let's start with the DIY party favor shot bottles.
The first step is to get some 50 mL shot bottles. We purchase ours from Amazon, and they come in a pack of 24, which is more than enough for a small to medium-sized gathering. The next step is to get a mini funnel that can fit inside the shot bottle. This mini funnel is to make it easier to pour the desired liquid (alcohol, non-alcoholic, or juice) into the bottle without any mess. Our bottles came with a mini funnel, which was super convenient!
Fill each bottle with your favorite liquor, filling almost to the top. We commend doing this before applying your labels o make sure your labels stay crisp and clean. Place the caps back on your bottles and use a towel to dry off any spillage.
THE LABELS
Next, you’ll need some personalized labels for the shot bottles. We recommend labels to be about 1.8" x 1.8", which fits the front of the bottles perfectly. You can choose from opt for one of our designs (let us help save you some time!) or create your own by adding the birthday girl's name, the date of the celebration, and some graphics to make it more fun and personalized.
applying your labels
Before you begin, make sure your hands and the bottle are clean and dry. Labels may lose their adhesive if exposed to moisture or grease from your hands.
Remove your label from the backing and position your label over the bottle. Press firmly in the middle of the label first, making sure the edges of your label are still away from the bottle. Slowly press each side outward towards all edges to prevent air bubbles from forming. We recommend pressing one side of your label down first and smoothing out the label before pressing down the on rest of the label.
It's that simple! And now you have some personalized party favors that your guests will enjoy, and more importantly, remember.
In conclusion, DIY 21st birthday party favor shot bottles are an easy, affordable, and creative way to add a personal touch to your birthday celebration.
